Nessella pulchra

Nessella Pulchra looks like a furry edge with a pointy top, also with a needle on the edge of each part you can feel each part and it feels pointy.  I like that I can feel the fact that it is fuzzy and you can feel the pointy things on the top.

Nessella Pulchra grows in open fields, and grassy areas, oak woodlands.  It also grows well on clay, and serpentine soils, also with dry soils, it will die.

Nessella Pulchra is fully edible, I say that because it is fully edible by the whole thing.  I would like to eat one but I do not live by it, also do not eat if not cooked it is poison.

Nessella pulchra does not have any medicine uses it is just edible the whole thing including the root , but they used it for sewing and covering wounds and sores.

Fun fact, Purple needle grass is used for sewing clothes for the natives, also the native americans used it to cover wounds and sores.
